IT'S THE END OF THE SEASON ALREADY??? BUT WE WERE HAVING SO MUCH FUN!!!
CLOSING DAY - SATURDAY MAY 12TH:
Come on out early and watch the Championship Games for the divisions! It's sure to be some exciting softball! Ceremonies will begin after the games. All players should attend! Players will receive their end of the season awards, academic awards and yearbooks! Game times and Ceremony times are as follows:

Championship Games:
8U: 9:00am on Field #2
10U: 9:00am on Field #3
12U: 1:00pm on Field #3
14U: 1:00pm on Field #4

Please report to Big Sky Field #1 at the following times for Closing Ceremonies:
ARRIVAL TIME:
6U: 10:30am
8U: 10:30am
10U: 10:30am
12U: 2:30pm
14U: 2:30pm
CEREMONIE START TIME:
Ceremonies will start at 11:00 for the 6U, 8U and 10U.
Ceremonies will start at 3:00 for the 12U and 14U.

Plan on arriving early, as parking will be filled quickly. You will be able to park on Lost Canyons Dr.

2012-2013 EXECUTIVE BOARD BALLOT:
SVGS holds their Executive Board elections for the following season at closing day! Please be sure to get to know the candidates and cast your vote at closing day! Ballots will be at the information table set up near the snack bar.

Please help us evaluate how well we did this season by telling us about your child’s experience with SVGS for the 2012 season. Please download the Parent Survey as well as the Player Survey from the website on the Survey page We utilize this information to improve from season to season and assist us with the selection of managers for the Allstar season as well as future seasons. All information will be shared with the managers as well as the SVGS Board of Directors. Please also consider that you are evaluating volunteers who have dedicated many hours to this league and your daughter. PLEASE DO NOT TURN THE SURVEYS INTO THE SNACK BAR OR YOUR TEAM MOM.

Kohl's DOES care!

Kohl's has been helping Simi Valley Girls Softball for a few years now by sending employees who volunteer to work our events. Not only do we receive their help but after their volunteer hours are fulfilled, Kohl's sends SVGS a check for $500! For two seasons, Kohl's has used April as their Go Green month. Sam Rodriguez, store manager of the Simi Valley Kohl's has coordinated several Kohl's stores to work together to beautify one of our locations. Each store that participates not only sends their employees to plant trees, plants, etc but then each of the stores who participate sends SVGS a check for $1500!!! We can't thank Kohl's and Sam enough! I hope other corporations take note from Kohl's and support the communities that support their corporations!
If more companies did this, they too would benefit with employees
who are as great as the people in this picture wanting to work for their corporation!
And does anyone find it ironic that Kohl's color is PURPLE!
Great things come in PURPLE!

Simi Valley Girls Softball has a "24 hour rain out rule" meaning if it rains at 6:00 pm Friday night, fields are automatically closed until 6:00 pm on Saturday. Violations will result in practice fields being revoked.
